Refund, Return and Delivery Policy

Prisons.Org.Uk Ltd (POUK) is committed to dealing with you in an honest, straightforward and transparent way. Our policy explains how we will do this.

REFUNDS: Whats The Policy?

If we make a mistake and send you the wrong book, tell us by email within 5 days. We will credit your card for the cost of the book plus postage, and debit your card when we send you the right book. We will advise you what to do with the wrong book.

RETURNS: Whats The Policy?

If we send you a book which is damaged on delivery please call 0845 0660011 and we will give you instructions on how to proceed. We will arrange for the return of the damaged item at our expense, and re-supply you with a replacement product. If we discover on receipt the book is not damaged we reserve the right to return it to you and claim for postage in such an event.

DELIVERY: Whats The Policy?

THE PRISONS HANDBOOK: UK orders take upto 14 days, though will often be much less - we can normally deliver within 3 working days. UK Books are sent out by Royal Mail 1st Class recorded delivery. For International Orders we use the Royal Mail International Signed For Service; in both cases signature of receipt at the address to which we are authorised to send the book fully and finally discharges our duty to deliver. Overseas orders for books can take upto 14 days, but again we can normally effect delivery within 5 working days. Due to increased postage with International Orders we will contact you for any excess postage prior to dispatch.

FAST FACTS: We use Linklok to protect your purchase and our product, this means you can only download the product to the computer from which it was purchased and the link to the download expires in 24 hours - once the product has been downloaded once that fully and finally discharges our duty to deliver. Don't worry if circumstances prevent you from downloading before the link expires, just email sales@prisons.org.uk with details of your purchase and once we have confirmed that it hasn't been downloaded we'll email you with the product.
