The Prisons Handbook is a Prison Service approved publication for all prisons and young offender institutions in England and Wales, therefore you can be assured that when buying for an inmate they will be allowed to have it in their possession.
However, security rules are such that it MUST be sent to them direct from ourselves otherwise it will be placed in their stored property and they will not be allowed access to it until they are discharged. Please ensure therefore that you place their details (full name, prison number and the full postal address of the prison in which they are detained), in the 'Delivery Address' field on the Checkout page.
